Visit The Colony Meadery at the Moravian Book Shop in Downtown Bethlehem this holiday season

There aren't many more special places during the holidays than Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. In fact, it was founded on Christmas Eve in 1741 by Moravian settlers and is officially known as "The Christmas City."

This makes the historic downtown area a must-see during the month of December. The streets are lined with people shopping at many family-owned businesses and eating at a variety of different restaurants.

In the heart of this Christmas wonder is The Moravian Book Shop at 428 Main Street, the oldest continually running book store in the world. Yep, the whole world!

We're proud to say that Christmas marks the first that The Colony Meadery's mead and coffee shop is operating inside the historic book shop. The Moravian Book Shop doesn't only have books, of course, it's routinely mentioned by regional and national publications as one of the best holiday shops.

In-between stops at the downtown shops on a long day of shopping,  we welcome you to stop in and try our numerous varieties of mead in the heart of Christmas City, USA. Mead also makes a great gift and conversation piece for your loved ones.

Happy holidays from our family to yours.
